About Us
Open Arms Children Ministries began in 2015 on the principle of God word ‘‘Train a child away he should go and when he is old will not turn away from it’’ (Prov: 22:6 NIV).
This Ministry began as a result of compassion to the needy children because of the disputed past of the Teso sub-region:
- The cattle rustling by the neighboring tribe.
- Famine in the land
- HIV/AIDS epidermic.
The above made some children fall into difficulty as they have lost their parents and region was deprived of it’s economic development.
There is stability in the region now and hence the need for raising children in area of education for bright future.
Where we Work
Open Arms Children Ministries does work in Uganda especially in Soroti and serve the children of Elim Church and the surrounding communities.
